Does this not look amazing. Link to recipe below! |
Monday:
Eat and shop. Not quite what I had in mind, but this is what happens when I am unprepared and take starving boys to WalMart. Mc Donalds.
Tuesday:
Taco Tuesday. I just might make this a thing. Trying out different tacos of course, but this could become a regular around here! I think I will pull Anthony in to be my prep chef for this. He has been asking to "cut stuff" for a while now. And browning the meat and seasoning it is pretty easy stuff too!
Wednesday:
Chicken Tetrazzini. This is what the boys call the white spaghetti. And its also one of the only ways I can get them to eat mushrooms! Salads are great with this too!
Thursday:
Steak with Spanish rice and beans. I'm thinking of making homemade flour tortillas to go with this. We will see how that works out!
Friday:
Greek Marinated Chicken from Budget Bytes with salad and this slow cooker creamed corn. Two new recipes in one night? Pray for me. Somehow I didn't get around to making this corn last week so lets see if I can try it this week!
Saturday:
Tuna Noodle Casserole. Now that Anthony, my 8 year old knows how to make this, it is his suggestion every week. I finally gave in but we have to learn something else quick. If he is willing to learn, I am willing to teach. My dad was the cook in our family, so I love watching my so follow in his grandpa Jims footsteps.
Sunday:
Roast Chicken: Good ole Sunday dinners. Salad and roast potatoes on the side. Yum!
