Happy Monday everyone.
I'm not sure where the weekend went, but its gone and now we are waking up and starting another week. Its early and I'm not quite awake yet, but I am determined to make it a good week. As much as I am stressing over this weeks drs appointment, I am 99% sure its just going to be an initial visit. Just the get to know you kind of stuff. But its a new doctor. I could really do without another one of those. It is what it is though. Better to know where we stand. And February is American Heart Health Month.
Today I am focusing on my menu. I need to get everything prepped for the week. I should have done it yesterday, but between doing taxes, going out to dinner and some football game, I ran out of time. No worries, today works too. At least its planned out.

So we have 3 new recipes this week. I know. What am I thinking? I have asked myself that a few times just this morning. But nothing sounds good, and the guys didn't have any suggestions other than the lumpia (that I was secretly craving last week) so I just scrolled through Pinterest and picked something where it stopped. Menu Roulette? Whatever, it works.
I joked with David earlier about how other people have breakfast for dinner and they live. My guys usually require a more filling meal, but figured if I'm shaking things up this week why not give it a try. So fingers crossed, they aren't channeling their inner hobbits and thinking it's just dinner and that there will be supper later. Hobbits are cute, but they never stop eating! I'm a nerd. Don't judge!
