Anthonys Amazing Endocrinologist and team. They made his tests on Monday go so smoothly and were so good at helping him understand everything and stress less about it all. That is a win in this moms book!
Great weather for playing in the street. It's always fun when we take over the street. There are kids and bikes and balls everywhere. Love it!
Self-sufficient boys! Some days they sleep in, but apparently only when I wake up early. But when I'm dead tired, there they are making their own breakfast and getting their chores done before getting lost in their video games.
Instagram is back so I can video chat with my sisters and my mom. Yesterday I answered my phone before I eve realized what was going on. And thank God I did because I had fallen asleep on the patio again. If they hadn't called David probably would have found me an hour later still snoozing!
Clean cut grass. Still have to touch up here and there but for the most part, I did most of it yesterday. Makes me thankful for the energy I had to do it. And the strength I have left in this out of shape body!
A working garage door. Ever heard a garage door spring snap? We heard it from inside and couldn't figure out what it was...until we went to leave and the garage door growled at me. Garage doors with no springs are heavy as shit to lift too! I'm happy to have it fixed!!
Green everywhere! OK Im a little bummed that the pretty pink blooms on my Red Bud Tree are almost all gone, but the little heart shaped leaves popping out everywhere remind me that warm weather is just around the corner. Before I know it, that tree will be shading the hammock!
I just made lunch for the boys. I couldn't help but laugh at how they took their bows of sashimi and rice and hopped off to the table like the happiest little dudes in the world. Just their bowls, because if they are going to eat "Marshallese" then there are no forks involved.
Our little neighbor dinners. We have created our own little crazy family. And I love it! I look forward to nights like tonight. Ther will be laughing, all sorts of inappropriate nonsense and kids running around all over the place. Feels like home! HA!
Free Ebooks. Because I still haven't renewed my library card. Granted most of the books I have read have been of the mushy sorts, it keeps me occupied and keeps my brain working. But I need some new books so I should probably get to the library soon!
Anyways, it was probably the most chill Spring Break I have had in my entire 36 years. The boys sure enjoyed being lazy and slacking on their chores. We all did. Well, not David. That man has been working like crazy. I think a date night will be needed before the month is over! Poor guy.
We are kicking this weekend off with dinner. Tomorrow we are all headed to the Zoo. Yes again, but this time we are going with friends and everything is better with friends! Sunday we gonna hit up the theater and see Captain Marvel. And then it's back to the grind. The boys will be back to school and the house will be quiet again. But I will be able to catch up on my laundry and cleaning! So theres that!
