Today I'm linking up with Lindsay from The Flynnigans, Charlotte from My Pixie Blog and Beth from Coffee until Cocktails. Every Friday we share all the things that we are happy, grateful and thankful for! Stop on over and see what everyone else is sharing today! Here is my list for this week!
- Kid free trips to the Zoo.
- The boys feeling better.
- Anthony results are in and ok.
- Getting to go to a friends first ultrasound.
- Movie Nights at home.
- A family approved menu.
- New mugs from my favorite people.
- A warm morning after a few cold ones.
- Being able to rest when I need it.
- The boys awesome report cards.
People always laugh when I tell them David and I go to the Zoo without the kids. Its nice to just walk around and take pictures of everything with out being rushed. I stood and watched the Tiger stalk around for a good 30 minutes. I shared a shot of him on IG but my favorite shot made my Wordless Wednesday this week. Did you see it?
Anthonys test results came back and he has blow his dr away with how little growth hormone he is producing. Even with stimulation medication, he barely made a blip on the scale. So now we know whats going on. Still don't have a why yet, but a plan is in the works.
Alex came home yesterday and couldn't wait to tell me that he was the teacher told the class that there was only one student in the class with straight A's and it was him! And Ant made the A/B honor roll! Where on earth did they get their smarts from?!
It's been a while since I had such a chill week without feeling guilty and overwhelmed. Somewhere over winter I lost myself. I withdrew, I was short tempered, I was unhappy and on top of it all, my body was feeding off of my brain and it started to shut down too. I really hope Spring is here to stay and my better mood too!
Poteet Strawberry Festival 2017 |
This weekend is the Strawberry Festival and I am praying the rain stays away so we can have a great day. Muddy fair grounds make for a less than pleasant outing. But that is about all the adventure we have planned. There are still groceries to be bought and housework to be done. The usual fun stuff. Maybe we can fit in a fire if the weather holds out? Or a trip to the park?! We shall see.
What do y'all have planned for this weekend? Going out or staying in? What ever you do, I hope it makes you ridiculously happy!
