Whats Up, Weekend? 9•20•19

Oh sweet Friday.  The struggle was real this week.  But we made it!  The boys are off to school, the dogs are already napping off their breakfast and Im taking a quick break from my cleaning. Because I am staring at a basket full of clothes that need to be folded and put away.  Gross.  Laundry is my least favorite chore of all.  What chore is at the bottom of your list?

The boys are both doing great in school.  Better yet, Anthony has had so many more good days than bad days.  That makes my heart so happy and I pray it stay that way.  Speaking of Anthony, yesterday morning I was talking to him while he was brushing his teeth.  He hadn't put his shirt on yet and I noticed not only did he look taller, but slimmer as well.  He has a check up coming up and I can't wait to see if hes really has grown.  Maybe it's just my wishful thinking but he really does seem to be taller.  I need to find a way to document it!  ASAP!

The other day, we decided to go out for ice cream after dinner. We ended up taking the boys to get their haircut, then to have ice cream and then we had to stop by 2 different pharmacies to get medications.  I was frustrated about them splitting up the order but when I got home and was putting them away and setting aside the receipt,  I added up the cost with out insurance. $5,190 and that's not including his growth hormone which is $40,000.  I paid nothing!  Insurance is a B to work with sometimes, but when it works, damn it feels good!

Alex has been really excited about school . He really likes his teacher and class.  Hes been working hard and giving his best.  But he gets bored and frustrated easily.  Hes had a few bad days.  He got scolded for high five'ing his friend.  And again for running at recess.  Yeah, I am biting my tongue on that one.  Just this once. But, Wednesday morning, he came into the kitchen while I was packing lunches and said, you know, Ive noticed something.  I always have good days when I remember to pray the night before.  So every days he has been waking up with excitement because hes been praying hard every night.  I hope he never changes!

This weekend I have a Baby Shower to go to for a good friend of mine.   That is the extent of plans I have.  We were supposed to go to the zoo last weekend but didn't get to, so maybe we will this weekend?  We should probably wash the car at some point.  Get some shopping done and all that boring stuff.
